The Marshall City Council has approved a Sidewalk Replacement Program for any sidewalks on public rights-of-way in need of replacement.

A $50 non-refundable inspection fee will be collected at the time of application. After completion of the sidewalk replacement and inspection and approval by the City, the property owner must provide paid invoices to the City for the work and shall be reimbursed by the City for 50% of the paid invoices up to $500.00.

The Sidewalk Replacement Program is limited to $10,000.00 for total sidewalk replacement reimbursement for 2015.

Property owners may apply for reimbursement of sidewalk replacement costs through the Sidewalk Replacement Program. Permit applications are available for interested property owners at the Public Works Department in the Municipal Building located at 344 West Main Street.
